It’s so hard to type about this with nuance but yeah I think what you’re saying makes total sense. In my work, the clients are healthcare patients - so, people who can’t afford to receive inaccuracy. So my patience with the hype is especially thin 🥺

Ramen! Good ramen broth takes time and care. Can also make toppings throughout the day, such as ramen eggs, garlic oil… so many options. My 5yo helps his dad with this some weekends. Makes the house smell so good

Oh just reread, maybe you weren’t saying AI is replacing the workers but the govt is. I’m so over the AI hype and as someone whose literal job is AI research I still have yet to find any evidence of it remotely living up to it

I dunno if I agree. I see STEM as alive and well and benefiting from AI at the same rate as any other tech advances in the grand scheme. It’s another tool that’s useful in some contexts but the claims that it will replace tech workers seems designed to put these high earners in their place at best

My 5yo son believes that every announcer is Joe Biden
