Introduction post. We're Norm and Lisa, we have a boardgame youtube channel called "Shelf Control" where we document us playing through our collection to see what stays and what goes.
We're not a big channel (algorithm doesn't favor old games), but we're having fun and finding like minded folk.

Lisa wanted a rematch of Luthier because I thwarted her plans last time. They were thwarted again this game. I won 77 to 74, and it all came down to who scored an objective first in the last round (it was a 3 point swing). Lisa isn't talking to me anymore. #boardgames

We received our copy of the Canvas Big Box! One of Lisa's coworkers is a painter, so we made a video unboxing it so she can see the game (we're going to make her play it). What a beautiful #boardgame, and a cool small big box!

We received our copy of the Canvas Big Box! One of Lisa's coworkers is a painter, so we made a video unboxing it so she can see the game (we're going to make her play it). What a beautiful #boardgame, and a cool small big box!

Has anyone else noticed how the print on game cards seems to affect the surface of the sleeves? I hope the picture shows what I mean. You can see it around the top text. I've noticed this with many different games, and I wondered why it is like this. Any scientists out there? #boardgames

Lisa and I played our retail copy of Northgard: Uncharted Lands to see if we'd be interested in the Kickstarter going on now. Was afraid of it falling flat as a 2 player game, but it was closely fought, and I won 64-58. Will need more plays to be sure, but it was fun to play. #boardgames
