This bill is a moral failure. It takes food from children and healthcare from those who need it. This is cruelty, codified into law.

Today we mourn. Tomorrow we mobilize. Every person who voted for this must hear from the constituents whose dignity and safety they just traded away.

Today marks 3 years since Roe was overturned. We remember the women and girls forced to carry pregnancies, denied care, and silenced. We mourn those whose stories we’ll never know. Abortion bans don’t just strip away rights, they shatter lives and violate our Jewish belief in dignity and agency.

A peaceful Jewish march in Boulder calling for the release of hostages held by Hamas was just met with firebombs. This was a violent, targeted, antisemitic attack. To be clear: antisemitism does not make anyone, including Palestinians, safer or free. It must always be called out.

Sarah Milgrim was so much more than someone about to be engaged. She served on the civil society team at the Embassy of Israel, dedicating her life and career to building bridges. (1/2)

I’m heartbroken by the antisemitic attack in my beloved DC community. We mourn those killed tonight, and our hearts are with their families and the entire Jewish community. Antisemitism is deadly and must be condemned unequivocally by all who claim to stand against hate.

The American people elected Donald Trump as president, not king. He does not have the power to unilaterally dismantle the Department of Education — that authority belongs  to Congress alone. The mere suggestion that he does should alarm the entire nation.

Promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion is not political—it’s moral. It is about treating every person with dignity and fairness. It’s about creating work spaces and schools where all people—regardless of their race, religion, gender, or abilities—can thrive. #DemandDiversity

A moral nation ensures that every woman, every child, and every family has what they need to thrive. Justice, dignity, equity, and compassion must guide our policies. We must always work to make that future a reality.

1 in 5 women experience sexual violence in college. This dangerous rollback changes Title IX from a law that protects women, girls, and LGBTQ students into one that shields schools enabling harm. All students should be able to have an education free from violence.

Under Trump, Schools Tells to Change Sexual Misconduct, Title IX Guidance
The guidance bolsters the rights of students accused of sexual misconduct and scraps Biden-era rules extending protections to L.G.B.T.Q. students.

SNAP, WIC, & Head Start programs are lifelines, not luxuries. Denying them isn’t just harmful—it’s a betrayal of our nation’s moral obligation. A just and compassionate society does not turn its back on those in need.
