Note: SBSG members have been watching & recording the fauna of the reservoir complex for many decades. A location once known as an important site for passsage waders, breeding waterfowl and roosting raptors, Redmires was also a pioneering VisMig site in 1970s & 80s

The focus of the project is on developing a site strategy for Redmires as an important but contested site for humans and wildlife alike. To inform their approach, they would like to engage with specific user groups and identify species that inhabit the site.
