This show has now moved to Vicar Street due to ticket demand. Proceeds go to Medical Aid for Palestine. Tickets have just gone on sale and we’d love to sell it out and make as much money for humanitarian aid. Tickets for The Complex are still valid. Please share: www.ticketmaster.ie/irish-writer...

This is bloody good. I'm already worried about how I'm going to feel when it's finished. Beautifully written melancholy prose interspersed with regular slaps of imagery of shocking violence, although they rarely actually describe violence. The rhythm is exquisite.Thank you @sheelanogig.bsky.social !

These are always worth a good look. Especially liking the mention of 'Towards an inclusive Creative Writing', by Janelle Adsit.
I teach (if that's the right word) creative writing (if that's what we should call it) at the University of Nottingham. Sometimes I send out these Class Notes afterwards. This week: some STRONG LANGUAGE: mailchi.mp/25a26a559cac...

Like 90% of being an artist is being too stubborn to stop being an artist.

First post over here and its a good'un. Hopefully safer to talk about how excruciating filming a five-minute segment is. Realising you have arms for the first time and have no idea what they are or where they're supposed to go.
