"They Live" is a movie with basically an infinite ceiling for me. Every time I watch it, I fall more deeply in love with it. Roddy Piper and Keith David give two of the best performances in any John Carpenter movie. Fantastic concept and brilliant execution from production.

I'm sorry, but no Oscar noms for Crimson Tide's script or Hackman or Denzel's performances is fucking wild. Especially given that Babe got nominated for 7 Oscars that year, including Best Picture.
