In the 2024 election, Kamala Harris received ~74,999,166 votes. As of 2024, Canada’s population was estimated at about 40.3 million people. The number of people who voted for Harris is roughly 1.86 times the entire population of Canada. As frustrating as it is for Canada, it's almost 2x so for us.

I had high hopes for Mastedon, and I dabbled in Threads, but Bluesky has hit a critical threshold of sports fans where I do not feel the need to check what conversations are happening on twitter during or after games.

Just realized I still had Twitter in my quick access bar on my iPad. It was cathartic to remove it and add Bluesky in is place.
