A friend who was just a truck driver on your tour reports that they had been parked for five days with no food, no water or toilets available to them, and that your American staff is berating them. Do better!

I have been wondering what other JG, Jeffrey or Goldberg he may have intended to invite.

that’s another part of it — looking at it from my “who can afford to retire” lens. It’s like, who wouldn’t retire if they could afford to? I have worked almost every day of since I was 12. Twice as an adult I had a summer off, thanks to being laid off and having severance so I could take my time.

I honestly question the motives of anyone who has worked a high pressure job their whole life, missed out on family, friends, hobbies, and at 80 still wants such a consequential, high pressure, full time job.

No, if you pay taxes you vote for your representation. Being one vote in a sea of votes at 80 is one thing, being the person negotiating the laws for the world you are about to leave behind is another. Just my opinion as an almost 60 year old.

Durbin will be 82 in 2026. Even if there are no age limits, no one should be voting for anyone over 70.

I was coming in here to say “I guess he picked a bad week to stop taking ketamine…just joking, he’s taking even more ketamine!”

I worked for a company that gifted us nice chunks of stock and at one point it shot up and the anticipation of it hitting $400, well, that was nothing compared to my anticipation at Tesla going under $200! Squee!

I’m pretty sure they have a better lawyer advising them now. You can’t openly talk about retaliating against Maine because their governor is going to follow the law and expect to get away with openly retaliating.

To be fair, my favorite depends on the day. But, generally green pepper, and my poor spouse hasn’t seen his favorite, onion, on a pizza since we got together (it repeats on me). I do offer to go halfsies.

They aren’t “tech boys”. They are terrorists, destroying government facilities and services.

I never thought I’d be saying this, but, thank you, Amy Coney Barrett for standing up for the rule of law.

And yeah, Trump supporters are loud, they have to be, they don’t have the most often don’t have facts or truth on their side. I’m an Independent who has voted Dem and GOP, but this is no longer the GOP, that party is gone.

And these numbers are just people old enough to vote.
March 3, 2025 at 12:51 PM
Oh. Well, 77 million voted for Trump, 75 million for Harris, just under 3 million for 3rd party. So, of the people who voted, it’s about tied. However, 90 million didn’t vote at all, so we have no idea where the majority really falls.

I guess it could be, but, they are pretty open about interfering in U.S. elections, going back to Kennedy, I would think they are throwing their own.
March 3, 2025 at 12:48 PM
Wait, are you pointing to a Russian election and believing it is in any way actually representative of what the people want?
