There's still very many other things to work on, such as other grouping symbols, which will be much more complicated, but I'm getting closer to being able to save and load arbitrary things from the editor! thats really big news, because once that's done i start writing the spell parser!! :D

As you might see there, it required me to make a change to the construction of rune IDs– previously, the combination would have been
a.(b.c,d.e)
but more parentheses were needed because there's not a great other way for me to specify an order of operations right now.

i call it the "Little Grid OS" but bc of one spot were it needed 11 characters it got smushed into "LITTLEGR0D5" and now its "little grods" 😅

the circle on the screen just happens to be most recent, Ive been following nanobytes tutorials so i have some interrupt handling, a fat12 driver, not much but its fun :)

*depending on what you count as 3d, i was envisioning something along the lines of doom style raycast and just barebones wireframes but who knows what I'll do!

well we'll see what actually ends up happening, but essentially itd be like instead of using a desk analogy like a desktop with folders and files, Id make a 3d* environment with various physical abstractions and objects to represent things!

real, i have a USB disk drive just in case but as it happens I don't need it much 😅

... that doesn't stop me from wanting a floppy disk drive for Christmas, i wanna program on them for funsies :3

i would have been able to do that too but i don't think their laptops have the disk drive, how times change 😅
