I’ve seen videos of people playing Ocarina of Time at GDQ. I‘ve seen a man beat Super Mario World with a credits warp in RTA. I’ve seen ALTTP randomizer streamers who habitually “hover” across gaps. I’ve seen LISTICLES of the best and most game-breaking FF6 bugs.

It worked out to running my microwave for… I think less than 10 seconds.

From the fact that it shows as “Blocked” even when logged out, I think the way Bluesky works is, if you block someone who QT’d you, it shows that way no matter who views the QT. No need to block anyone else.
Makes sense as an anti-dogpile defense, I suppose.

This reminds me that it’s been a couple months since I last read a volume (Deluxe #5, regular volumes 13-15). I should get back to that.

So is that part at all specialized? Or does every house in the village have a loom fed by the yarn they spin, maybe more than one for the bigger households or ones with more daughters?

That is, yes, it’s the next-largest chunk of labor, but it’s still a very distant second. And even a basic warp-weighted loom seems to need a bigger investment of time and materials to set up than a distaff and drop spindle.

I think I get what you’re saying. That is, there are better and worse systems, with more and less effective guard rails… but ultimately, no matter what, the guard rails are made of people.

After I posted this I had the thought that "knight" might be better than "warrior"… and then I realized there's probably porn out there riffing off the stock "princess knight" hentai plot where Hornet gets captured and gang-raped by whatever the bug equivalent of orcs would be.

I've only watched the first couple hours, but I do like how she's both courteous and dignified in all her interactions, as befits the warrior princess she is.

Yeah, a huge point in discourse between Zionists is the notion of Israel as the country that WOULD have bombed the tracks to Auschwitz.
(Not that their solidarity with the diaspora is exactly living up to that ideal these days.)

It's occurred to me before that children's movies are the one kind of movie where you can reasonably expect much of your audience to just… not be familiar with movies at all.
