They are both ultimately music for middle schoolers, but Alkaline Trio is more “let’s share a coffin and drink each others’ blood” while Blink-182 is “pee pee, poo,” yet somehow Blink aged better.

Still thrown off from booking this Chinese band years ago, but then they came to play and were a bunch of white guy expats who teach in China and come back to tour through the U.S. every summer.

I think a lot of directors (and the rest of the cast and crew!) put a lot into their movies, but that video Coogler made explaining aspect ratios was tremendous PR for Sinners. I know people who went to see it purely because of that.

Awe, as someone only lightly into Star Wars, I enjoyed the formation of the scrappy group and the Storm Troopers in a tropical setting.
Okay I’m watching Rogue One again post-Andor and,
unfortunately, large portions of this movie still kinda suck.

Awe, as someone only lightly into Star Wars, I enjoyed the formation of the scrappy group and the Storm Troopers in a tropical setting.
The Endangered Species Act itself is already only a half measure/stop gap against the continued loss of diversity on our planet. Making it so “harm” only covers direct harm to animals and not their habitats is narrow thinking and dangerous.
Do not forget to submit a comment to the feds to not rescind the definition of “harm” in the ESA!!!

Seven ChatGPT written finals and counting. I don't think anyone outside of academia really understands how big of an issue this is. We're about to be begin graduating generations of students who have offloaded the entire learning process of their degrees onto predictive algorithms.

I don’t know why but I want to share a flashback I had to my middle school biology teacher who had us work in the school greenhouse for the entire spring semester. We didn’t learn a thing and then he sold all the plants at the local farmer’s market and we didn’t see a dime for our labor.
