WEAPONS felt like a Stephen King novel in the best way. It made a small town that felt lived in and reminded me of NEEDFUL THINGS or UNDER THE DOME written from multiple perspectives to tell a layered story. Definitely recommend it!

Not gonna lie, a movie called “ZOMBIES 4: RISE OF THE VAMPIRES” sounds like EXACTLY the type of trashy 1970s/1980s horror movie I’d love to see.

HELL OF A SUMMER was a lot of fun! Nice to see an 80s throwback slasher that’s actually set in the present day. Disappointed with the killer reveal and motivations, but I LOVED the first half!

SCREAMBOAT was so much more fun than it had any right to be 😆 I’m a sucker for puns and dad jokes, and that movie knew exactly what it was and leaned into it! It’s good for a goofy laugh with some solid gore and creative kills.

Went down a rabbit hole watching Georges Méliès short films on MAX last night. Incredible how films that are >100 years old can hold up. THE OLD HAG and A TRIP TO THE MOON are still enthralling.

I went to HEART EYES for a fun, cheap, trashy slasher. I was surprised to find a VERY fun little 90s rom com set in a horror universe (and I mean that in the BEST way). It exceeded every expectation. It’s only February, but this is my favorite movie of 2025 so far and will be top 10 of the year!

I went to HEART EYES for a fun, cheap, trashy slasher. I was surprised to find a VERY fun little 90s rom com set in a horror universe (and I mean that in the BEST way). It exceeded every expectation. It’s only February, but this is my favorite movie of 2025 so far and will be top 10 of the year!
