NWGA families are hurting. Justice Jackson dissented from the Supreme Court ruling keeping full SNAP benefits blocked, and Marjorie Taylor Greene is too busy chasing TV cameras to fight for her own district.141,132 people here depend on this aid. Leadership Matters.

UPDATE: Trump is asking the Supreme Court to recind the order to feed hungry Americans (SNAP) by 9:30 tonight. Not only unbelievable but deeply un-American. This is not America first. Marjorie, why are you so quiet? Over 141,000 of your constituents depend on this in NWGA.
It looks like the USDA is going to do the right thing and comply with the court orders. I ask all Governors to move quickly in moving the money out to the people.

Members of Congress shouldn't be getting paid during a shutdown and they absolutely shouldn't be receiving a daily food allowance when people in their districts are going without food. When elected, I will support a bill that addresses this inequity.

16,000 people in Floyd County depend on SNAP benefits. That's Marjorie's home county yet for all her recnt media appearances, she never once mentions the hard choices facing her hometown. Maybe that's because she has always voted against their interests.

Selfish and cruel. That’s the only way to describe an administration willing to let people—children, seniors, veterans—go hungry to make a political point. To defy a court order that made it crystal clear what the expectations are and how to fund it is beyond spiteful.
