3-hour oil sketch. For this one I dug out some Cadmiums, which I haven’t used in years. I have a whole series of neon paintings I want to do, but I’m not yet satisfied with the look of the first few attempts. This doesn’t quite get what I wanted, but I’m intrigued enough to experiment in this vein.

A 2.5-hour timed study I did on Friday. I think I’ll spend some more time developing this idea into a proper painting.
