Free idea: PD makes a subscription just for local tornado coverage and gives the $$$ to folks trying to help + I take them up on it and quit putting up salty posts about their firewalls.
Volunteers have been combing neighborhoods and meeting with residents — including many senior citizens — who are trying to live in homes deemed unsafe by the city.
