I know very little about art. So I was not prepared for the emotional response I had to seeing actual paintings by Van Gogh for the first time at the Musee d’Orsay.

Central Coast was always brushies. We didn’t see a ringtail till we moved to Sydney and living in the Flodge. Heard a commotion one night and found a brushtail hanging from our portable clotheslines as if was the most natural thing to do. Found the pic!

Starts off with plenty of promise. About half way though the shortcomings become apparent. At the finish you end up pretty disappointed with the unfilled potential. But the other beer is way worse so you end up having another one.

I’m with not just the media bosses but the artists who have been arguing against AI having open slather. It is theft and that a Labor senator is arguing it is not is worrying.

The second gig was Hans Zimmer at Qudos Arena. A mate had a spare so I thought “Why not?” Now I only had a vague notion on who Hans Zimmer is and could not name one movie he scored (though Ive obviously seen some of them. So with no expectations I was blown away. It was an amazing show.

The Hard Ons at Petersham Bowlo in Sydney on Saturday night. Tim Rogers was elsewhere so just Blackie, Ray and Murray. It was a lot of fun and Blackie handled the vocals with ease.
