Part of me wonders if the Wolves got postponed so ABC wouldn’t have to air ‘Fuck ICE’ chants on a national broadcast.

Once again, observers are not protesting. This wasn’t during a protest. He was murdered while being in his community and observing the out of control federal occupation of our city.

As tens of thousands across America protest the violence that ICE sows with impunity, federal agents shot and killed another person in Minneapolis today.

ICE terrorizes our cities. ICE puts us all in danger. Abolish ICE.

This is what our government has sent into cities across the country to arrest normal, nonviolent working people. Insanity.

What’s crazy to me is the majority of the Republican base, who have lower incomes, supported lower taxes for years because ‘one day I’ll be rich’ have now implicitly decided instead to blow up the economy that would fuel their enriching. 🤔

I don’t laugh because so many people have these beliefs, but because so many people act contrary to to the ramifications of these beliefs.

Me, trying to explain who Benedict Cumberbatch is to my mom: ever see Atonement, Power of the Dog, or Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy?

Mom: nope

17 yo son: He was Dr Strange.

Mom and son roll their eyes.

Notice how ticket-selling sites no longer post prices for concert tix prior to the sale? They know at sale time your FOMO will beat out that momentary clarity. That’s some dirty pool.

Maybe the Chiefs are just lulling the Bills into a false sense of being able to beat the Chiefs in the playoffs.😉

On one hand, Walz codified Roe v Wade, passed free school lunch, and a host of other progressive, effective pieces of legislation.

On the other hand, he said he was in China a few months before he really was.

Really torn here.
Gaffes, misstatements or lies? Walz’s inaccurate past statements draw scrutiny.
The Minnesota governor’s words are being closely scrutinized now that he’s on the national ticket.

The most outlandish part of Saving Private Ryan is that when Mrs Ryan gets the bad news, it’s June of ‘44 but the fields are brown instead of a lush green.
