A fee for requesting discharge of conditions on planning approvals is a great idea given the no of applications approved with conditions - many to protect the environment - which developers later request removal of in a long list of applications.
It could even stop request splitting #Stormont

I'm still reeling from the murder of @ajenglish.bsky.social journalists in Gaza.
Who will report on Israel's planned takeover of Gaza now?
If they have nothing to hide, they would let the world's media in

Oh, the joys of a cuppa joe in the sun while the computer warms up. Rewilding parts of the garden mean I also get to enjoy the birds singing, crickets chirping, butterflies fluttering by and bees buzzing from one flower to the next - when you let grass grow, nature really shows up for you 🥰

Today was a sad day. We said goodbye to Alan Keys who spent the last few years & many before trying to solve pollution problems in our rivers & Lough Neagh.
He really was 'some man for one man' - and the numbers that turned out to pay their respects was testament to that #RIPAK47

📍 Three people in NI caught bovine TB last year
📍 TB reactors (animals that test positive) are largely more prevalent in areas where cattle herds are most dense..

In a sensible turn of events, sources at Stormont tell me ALL parties have agreed urgent policy to update sewage networks & the electricity grid so 50,000 new homes can be built to climate-safe standards, to slash heating bills and energy use and also tackle homelessness 🙌
