Teague’s final concert and the end of 8 amazing years with The Pride of Piedmont. I once dreamed of sports for my boys, but being a band parent has brought more joy than I ever imagined.

This chapter is closing, and with it comes a bittersweet goodbye.

“We’re very concerned.” - Senate President Pro Temp Lonnie Paxton told reporters last week when asked about proposed Medicaid cuts. The feds currently pay 90% of the cost for OK’s expansion population, which #okleg is constitutionally on the hook for funding each year.
The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office says House Republicans can't meet their budget targets to pass Trump's agenda without making significant cuts to Medicare or Medicaid.

The Jewel Theater in Oklahoma City celebrated the start of its preservation project in a ceremony Friday.

The historically Black theater closed in the 1960s. Its owner now hopes to turn it into a community gathering space.
