Also, the movie is apparently a "soft-prequel" to the bay movies and a "soft-sequel" to the bee movie. (It's kinda not both, bee maybe)

Most of transformers one's lore is based on the transformers prime show. While there are a few difference, you could definitely watch prime after one. I highly recommend you to watch the other two shows also to get a feel of the diverse lore of the Transformers
