Lina Khan is the one true Queen.
Indiana realized that winning college football games doesn't require you having the most eventual NFL talent up and down your roster.

They have the best coach, best QB, and a bunch of really good, experienced college football players.

This isn't an NFL talent stacked team and it's a good formula

Carson Beck is that type of QB who you constantly want to upgrade on, yet somehow they keep winning and you don't actually have a good excuse beyond just feeling like they aren't good enough.

You're right, of course, but it takes ages to prove it and you might accidentally win a title.

Flacco...

The committee needs to start punishing SEC teams whose biggest wins are simply against other SEC teams. They need to stop with the "good losses" when it is an SEC team losing to an SEC team whose biggest wins are against other SEC teams who are ranked because they have good losses against SEC teams.
January 9, 2026 at 9:10 AM
Greg Sankey has done an amazing job of creating a narrative about the SEC that is not reflected in reality.

The CFP committee, the AP voters, and most media members genuinely think that SEC teams beating SEC teams means they are good.

It's incestuous by design because it's rewarded.

Someone needs to teach the Miami defenders how to actually complete an interception.

Chambliss should have ended that game with at least three, probably four, and the final score should have been a double digit win.

The better team won.

Also... stop ejecting guys for that type of targeting.

The US is experiencing the culmination of over 150yrs of no accountability for people in positions of power.

We have created a country where power grants you the belief that you have no restrictions based on the assumption of no punishment.

It started by not hanging Confederate leaders for treason

If the US holds Venezuela, we will seize 17% of oil -- yesterday's technology. If China uses this precedent to take Taiwan, it will own 60% of semiconductors -- tomorrow's technology. See what happens when you elect evil & stupid at the same time?

I did not see United sacking Amorim today.

I feel the same way I did about most post-SAF managers at this time during their tenure... I was not yet asking for the sack. I accept that the players are > 50% to blame... but also stop making odd, bad decisions and then doubling down.

The Steelers-Ravens game was a perfect example how entertaining football doesn't have to be high level, elite team football.

That was the perfect game to end the regular season, and I cannot believe anyone was mad that that was the Sunday night game.

All gas, no brakes chaos.

I assume Saudi Arabia is next... right after our leaders return from kneeling to them?

- Funds terrorism
- Has murdered Americans
- Dictator who has opponents tortured and killed
- Extreme oppression against certain groups
- Literally no democracy at all, not even a fake one
- Has a shit ton of oil

The World Juniors has been more exciting and entertaining than 90% of NHL games I have watched this year.

Something about making the show removes all of the interest in classic hockey physicality from players, replaced with a desire to only crosscheck in the back/at the neck.

Watching the Miami DL vs Magic Chambliss will be fascinating.

Can they get pressure without blitzing and play zone with a full hand?

To stop those insane scramble plays you need to not have to commit an extra man to blitz. If you can stay in coverage it makes it much tougher for the QB.

How has Eric Adams not been charged and arrested by the NY AG?

Those alleged crimes almost certainly have crossover between federal and state levels. The DOJ dropped it because of Trump, not because there was no case.

The NY Dem Party political machine once again covers for its own insiders.

Time to put my clown makeup on.

What a fucking embarrassing loss.

Absolutely disgraceful by Ohio State and Ryan Day.

Weak, small, can’t stop the run. Time for Day to remove the weaknesses on the line.

Amorim will not last until the end of '26. He is just too stubborn.

Even new midfield signings won't save him from himself.

INEOS will expect UCL football after an eventual total of £350m spent. It will be December and he will be off of the pace. SJR will sour on him and give him the axe.

Football fans complain about the CFP selection process, and claim they aren't finding the 12 best teams, yet won't turn around and complain that 2 of the Ravens or Steelers, and Bucs or Panthers will get an automatic playoff spot.

Does anyone really think any of those four are in the top 14?

This may sound crazy, but if the Giants get the 1OA, should they take Mendoza and dangle Dart for trade?

Could they get two firsts? If so, and if you believe Mendoza is a franchise guy, then you reset the clock and don't have the concussion issues.

Risky, but potentially worth it.
December 27, 2025 at 8:35 AM
I imagine Roger Goodell is not pleased about the obvious tanking that is happening right now in search of that 1OA pick.

The NFL has always hated the idea of looking like the NBA when it comes to tanking, and so far the culture in football has helped limit it some.

Not this year. Not with one QB

I feel like a letter from Epstein to Nasser is such a weird thing to fake. Especially to "fake" so well and specific. To... what end? It's not like "they" sent it in a way to expose it to the public years ago.

I'd love a third party, non-American based analysis of the handwriting.

I was really impressed by Miami's defense today. Yes, the wind limited a lot and impacted throws, but they have Reed dancing around like a nervous nelly from the start.

I feel like Texas A&M is in a similar spot to Oklahoma. Run it back and pray the QB improves? Portal? Open competition at camp?
