Spring bling

First little handful of the season.

Finding some joy in the gardens today. 50 degrees and sunny in Michigan. (Sun tea inspired by Meghan and my hubby - a Lipton fan). My twist: Rose hips, oregano, thyme & lavender.

Trying to stay grounded. Sowing seeds, bumping up and hardening off in 5b. 🌱

Spotting these mushrooms along my trek today prompted a pause for pictures. Little acts of joy for me consist of hiking, taking photos and connecting with friends.

Frozen prints spotted on my hike and healthy Eustoma seedlings in my flower studio sprouted from seeds sown in mid-December. Both prompted me to pause, feel joy and to breathe.

Year-end sights on foggy, damp hike on a favorite trail. Newly fallen trees since last visit. Wishing for knee-deep snow in the New Year.
