Frozen prints spotted on my hike and healthy Eustoma seedlings in my flower studio sprouted from seeds sown in mid-December. Both prompted me to pause, feel joy and to breathe.

The new administration’s acts of rascism and rally cries against DEI are a disgrace. My heart breaks for families divided and detained, and for those who lost loved ones in the airplane and helicopter crash.
