That organizer proceeded to hold a press conference and apologize and urge out-of-state protestors to go home.
Dearborn's rich diversity of faith, culture and people makes Michigan stronger. And while the national climate is setting a bad example, Michiganders are doing things to rise above it. 2/3

That would be a good question to ask Clerk Winfrey as well. Would she support moving municipal elections to even years, as Grand Rapids did a few years ago.

As someone who worked my ass off to increase access to the ballot in Michigan, the last year was depressing. It was painful to watch good people question the power of expanding the electorate. Remaining steadfast in our commitment to increasing civic participation is living our values.
