Sure they do. For example, drivers who drive along roads with only room for 1 line of parking, 1 line of car travel, and 1 pavement, bat so many eyelids they park taking up half the pavement. More important to give cars 1.5 lanes! Heaven forbid the pedestrians can get by with buggies & wheelchairs.

I don't know of any authoritative research, but individual BBC articles can be measured, showing quite the bias against trans. Looking at how many paragraphs of coverage feature trans or pro-trans voices, vs how many anti-trans, for example. Compare, e.g., to gay vs anti-gay and it is clearer & sad.

Cowley Rd really stands out! Also a few other notable roads - Hill Top Road, and a section of the bypass.

There are places where this is implemented, seems fine if somewhat unusual.

The driver is in a comfy seat and can afford to be patient. No reason to assume that the pedestrian is as comfortable standing. Plus the driver already has a massive advantage of getting where they are going quicker. You have it completely backwards.

the minutes of the October meeting between WellBN and SussexICB are chilling. Andrew Dodson from the Sussex side just openly saying patients will be “deprescribed,” that they’ll have no choice and won’t be allowed to talk to the team taking their healthcare away
