Belgium was fantastic. We went in October. A few days in Bruges. A stopover in Ghent and last couple of days in Brussels. I do hope they’ve ironed out the airport arrival challenges by the time you get there.

Check out Justice Eddins’ complete repudiation of the Roberts Court here. It’s worth reading in full. It’s quite brave—and exceedingly rare—for a sitting judge to speak so candidly and scathingly about SCOTUS’ partisan contortions of law, history, and fact.

This framing indicates they failed primarily due to “systemic neglect”. They failed primarily due to design decisions (mistakes) made by the us army corps of engineers. They were built wrong. They were put under less stress than they were designed for and still failed. Systemically.

If you're wondering why the national press is covering the occupation of DC the insane way they are, pull up Episode 3 of the Hurricane Katrina documentary.

This entire series appears to be an important corrective on the propaganda most Americans have been taught about Hurricane Katrina & the Federal flood (if they've been taught anything at all).

If that’s true why does the grid conditions status at www.misoenergy.org show “normal” and why are there no alerts or other graphics indicating this emergency on the public facing miso website?
