Not living in a perfect world is hard for almost all of us. The disgusting few have now reached so deeply in to my psyche I can no longer look on, realising no action of mine can have a +ve effect.

I totally disagree.
If you're angered by the death of somebody who preached hate, you should be ten times as angered by gun deaths of school children, not "just as."
There is no equivalency between the two.
