Curious infovore, flailing dilettante
I have my reservations about BlueSky. The hopeful take is that it’ll replicate pre-Muskening Twitter and the dense social graph and p2p conversational feel of it over being a feed machine. So far it seems like political dissidents from X.

X has turned into a slop engagement machine with far-right characteristics. Warpcast I could return to but feels more like a Twitter successor for web3 people rather than a web3-backed Twitter which is what I hoped it would be

This is of course all within the laptop job/knowledge work sphere. Stuff that is embodied is still a few paradigm shifts away due to robotics.

As the adage goes, the only way out is through. We can’t unsee or unlearn technical developments due to the game theoretic properties of a multiagent world. So we need to design a better way rather than relegate it to those who don’t share our ethics

Vgr seems tpot adjacent at best. Would be interesting to see a version of Scott Alexander’s idea map that categorized rationalist canon for the twitter scene though I fear it’ll make things to legible
