did a wild soda firing last night and here are some results! the pyrometer was only reading 2,120f but my witness cone 6 was already melted! i had to rush to spray the soda before things got too hot. i think i did a pretty good save 😅

i came up with a method to fit an irregularly shaped, domed lid on to an existing gallery and this is my first attempt! i've done oval and squared jars before but this was a whole different beast. thinking of making a video to share my process 💖 #wheelthrown #slab #handbuilt #ceramics

the reason why i have never even considered buying a tesla is the sheer fact that as an artist, i find their look and design to be atrocious. they ugly af, people. the newer it is, the uglier it gets. all other cars have traditionally been sculpted in clay by artists, and it shows

marvelling at the sheer number of pluot blossoms on my little tree. last year it gave me its first two fruits and i hope this year we get maaaany more. they were so yummy! i'll need to protect them from my parents who always pick fruit too early

an environmental disaster and human crisis. starting the cleanup and stopping halfway through is worse than never starting at all--hundreds of thousands of vietnamese people may be poisoned by agent orange aftermath (dioxin) that was brought to vietnam by america during the war. this is terrifying.

if you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why? i am saving up to go to japan, viet nam, france, portugal and iceland. there are so many reasons, but mostly culture, food, and landscapes for me 😍

i applied for my very first passport today and even though i held up the line at the post office, a wonderfully sweet person mirrored my excitement and gave me a high five and a giant grin as i was leaving 🥰 little human things 💖
