Do attend this. If you're thinking about what to ask, consider asking whether Senate Dems will begin a daily opposition briefing to the press, to educate citizens about what harm the Rs have caused that day. There's a small groundswell of support for this idea, and you can help grow it.

My observed three stages of almost every right-wing harmful act:
1. "I didn't do it".
2. "OK I did it, but it wasn't so bad." (or: "It was a joke".)
3. "Yes I did it, and it was AWESOME".
We're in stage 1 of Musk's Nazi salute. What's the over/under of his reaching Stage 3 by the end of the week?

What's worrisome about Musk's buffoonery is its loudness. It robs our attention from the harm that quieter oligarchs may be doing right now.

I think the most important things are 1) Donate to & support local immigrant led groups. They have relationships and trust w/in immigrant community 2) If you want to volunteer/take action do so in relationship to those groups. Following the lead of immigrant communities is essential in this moment.
If you’re a U.S. citizen, what will you do if there’s ICE raid in your vicinity? Keep in mind they’re *seeking* spectacle. Not just factories, but maybe classrooms, churches, a restaurant. It’s a question with no clear answers right now.

A contrary opinion to that of many pundits: many MAGA voters will never regret their vote, because:
1. Sunken cost. Many will not want to admit error, even to themselves.
2. R voters have been voting against their health, wealth, and safety for *decades*, if it means others suffer worse.
