The argument that it was only a few people (100+ workers in a dangerous city job: sanitation) is so stupid. When interviewed, workers said it was b/c they didn't know they were eligible. Then, there is a lot of turnover in these jobs. Just sign your employees up for health insurance already!

So no, do not abandon all of the other disappearing/ed humans to save one man. But the general populace has been behind this administration's actions on immigration (per polling), and we cannot ignore that reality. This is a chance to create a fissure. To cast doubt. To suggest a new way forward.

(Most) people are on board with this. So then we ask: if that's true, then can we really trust this administration when they say *anyone* is a criminal? What else are they lying to us about? The danger posed by any of these people? The constitutionality of sending people to CECOT at all?
