Why are Christians so pushy? How am I to believe Christianity is not a cult when they try to shove it down your throat when specifically asked not to? I was raised in a "Christian" household, with a mother that starved and beat us.. I don't want to hear it at all.

Our puppy got spayed just over a week ago, and now our senior dog has and infected tooth and has to have dental surgery. I feel so bad for my old little dude. Tuesday he has surgery and hes on meds for pain and an antibiotic.

Tomorrow, another dentist appointment. Then after that, I begin my adventure back home for a 2 day 3 night visit with kids/grandson.
I hate traveling alone, and wish I didn't have 6.5 hours to drive, or could avoid St. Louis without adding another hour to the drive. 🥺

Fur babies. 10.5 yr old miniature pincher (Fatboy B) and 5 month old mixed breed (Emmie). One is old, overweight, and lazy and one is young, active and stronger than me. Both keep me on my toes and I wouldn't have it any other way.

If I could have foreseen this being what our world comes to, I wouldn't have moved 2 years ago. I miss my kids. I miss my grandbaby. I don't think the way people down here in SE Missouri think. I want to move back home but it's not in the cards right now.

24 years ago, I worked as a long distance operator and my day started with seeing planes crash into the WTC. We logged in early that day. There was no script, it was telling people we are sorry but we cannot get through either. Every call was panicked family trying to reach a 212 number. 1/2

I miss my bed. It's my 4th night in a cabin in Iowa and the puppy popped the air mattress. The bed and futon at the cabin are both very uncomfortable. I knew this, so I brought the air mattress that I use when I'm truck camping. By the time we make it home Friday I'm gonna need a full body massage.

Another first since moving to Missouri, seeing a blue mud dauber wasp. They are cool looking little chrome homies. And Google says they hunt black widow spiders. I'm cool with that too.

For weeks I've put off rsvping for the no kings rally, I did tonight, and messaged the group for anyone willing to meet up with me as I am attending alone and do not know anyone here. Immediately responses came in, and I am so thankful for everyone in the Poplar Bluff area for being so inviting.

I 100% need to find a mental health professional because ALL of this is too much. It's scary how many people, including law enforcement, feel it's okay to threaten people for exercising their constitutional rights. I don't know anyone in my area to have a safe person to go with to the protest. :(
