Yes, “…must be met with forceful public resistance” means you.

5 calls, 5 minutes. Do it. Share it.
And in case you were wondering, yes, there are plenty of things Democrats in the House and Senate can do...

Call and demand they take real action! This alarming takeover must be met with forceful public resistance. ➡️ 5calls.org/issue/elon-m...

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
It isn’t “alarming.”
It isn’t “outrageous.”
It isn’t “unusual.”
It sure as shit isn’t “arousing.”

It’s fucking unacceptable and we don’t want more letters or statements or demands for investigations. We want action! We want sand thrown in the machine! We want leaders to lead! Right now!

I really can’t wrap my head around congressional Democrats’ response to the past 12 days of crises. It reeks of pathetic capitulation. Trump is asserting dictatorial powers of absolute control over the entire government and the reaction is “we don’t swing at every pitch”? An appalling abdication.

Julie Gray, wife of Holocaust survivor Gidon Lev, who joined Musk in his visit to Auschwitz speaks out. She says that Musk felt nothing during the tour & only "cared about how he looked."

She shared this with me privately shortly after the tour, and I'm grateful she made her thoughts public.

Whelp. There it is.

Not even been a week.
Barely been three days.
The 22nd Amendment of the Constitution states in part, “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice.”

A Republican House member introduced a resolution today seeking to revise this to: ”’No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than three times”
Constitutional amendment to allow Trump third term introduced in the House
President Donald Trump has hinted at the possibility of somehow serving a third term in office.

Trump has deployed active military to help round up migrants and put them into detention camps.

The military forced us out of our homes at gunpoint in 1942 because we were considered possibly disloyal Americans. They sent us to internment camps for four years.

History is repeating. Pay attention.

On one hand, today is an utterly unremarkable cold, dull, grey, midwestern mid-winter day. On the other, today is likely the last day of American democracy as I have known it for my 45ish years. Somehow, today manages to be both anticlimactic and tight with tension.

One thing is for certain…

ABC, NBC & CBS dedicated about 16 minutes of airtime last night to the California wildfires without once mentioning climate change.

Since the news failed do it's job, here's a short summary of the role of climate change and wildfire risk:
