Just saw Mexodus at the Minetta Lane Theatre — not the first show I’ve seen where it’s the band telling the story, but possibly the most unique. And with Hamilton hitting its decennial this year, it’s hard to ignore the steps it climbed to even make Mexodus possible #broadway #theater #review

Just saw Punch at the Samuel J Friedman —
A high energy, emotionally intense trip through the gutter (both figuratively and literally, as the staging circles a concrete culvert). The story follows Jacob, whose life changes course after accidentally killing a man during a drug fueled fight #broadway

It’s time for the annual re-dying of my black clothing, which makes up like 95% of my wardrobe. I often hear “you must never have to worry about matching” but the truth is black fades quickly, and never at the same rate… #diy #reuse #refresh #dying #black #punkneverdies #punkdoesdyetho

I couldn’t possibly go to Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom Masquerade without a costume! So I grabbed an old suit (from high school!) and some black tulle and lace, and got to work hand stitching. I abandoned the jacket since I was short on time, but ended up with some cool pants (and matching bow)

Finally finished these shorts! Trying to #focus and actually finishing projects I start, before starting more 😅 Pretty happy with how they came out, especially since they started as a failed pair of pants. I got the material while cycling through India so didn’t want to waste it #sewsky #fashion

New #sewing project incoming — this zigzag was a lot of fun! And a challenge. Can you guess what it is? #crafting #craftsky #sewsky #art #artsky

I must have hit the shrink tape with too much heat since it rippled, but I still got a nice solid repair! After sanding and a top coat to level and smooth — i think its looking looking really good! Gonna let it open air cure another day before a test ride #diy #cycling #repair

Not gonna lie getting the carbon fiber to wrap cleanly around such a small post was pretty difficult — the carbon fiber constantly wanted to peel itself off, even though the resin was getting viscous. Fortunately after putting the shrink tape on over top did smooth it out in the end #diy #cycling

In the dumbest way possible, I manage to crack my carbon bike frame… after spiraling for about an hour, thinking the frame was toast, I did a little research. Turns out modern consensus is to repair cracked carbon, instead of tossing. So this is the start of that journey! #DIY #cycling #repairs
