I am vast; I contain multitudes. - Walt Whitman

Just because they smile and eat chicken doesn't mean they've learned to master their emotions. - T'Pol

Asiago is a mean cheese. - Jeremiah Burton

Do with these quotes what you will.
She got damp in the rain. She doesn't like to be wet and becomes Roli Noli trying to get dry.

She was also crazy-zooming through the house.

May your day be as cozy as Miss Smokey's.

It's a color. Maybe I was supposed to forget it, but since I a) surround myself with it and b) don't take orders well, I remember.

Here is a little visual sample. Lots of blue here (and a Very Good Noli).

Here is a happy dog on a Sunday drive.

She may not look snuggly with a her muscles, but we call her the Nap Magnet. When Noli snuggle you, she does it like a champion!

Who's a happy girl going for a ride?

Noli is!

Nope. No nerve. No hate (gets in the way of joy).

Just no tolerance for bullying behavior. This is my preferred type of bully.
January 18, 2025 at 8:31 PM
How so, please?

Can you be specific?

It is never my intention to bully. The only type of bully I like is this one.

Noli is in her favorite place... snuggling in beside me, napping.

He looks a lot like my Staffie/ boxer, Noli!

Sweetest girl ever. Didn't deserve to be starving on a city street.

Never again.

I need to get moving, but Noli is making a convincing argument for a lazy Sunday.

Good morning from the dogpile!

BlueSky wants to know what's up. It is definitely not Noli. This is how my formerly starving street stray sweetheart prefers to greet every day, new year or not.

May we all find and share comfort and joy this year and always!

Our house is in something of a state of chaos. I was gone, and I do most of the hometending because the kids, 20 and 23, work away from home.

And a pipe burst in the cold snap; 23 just jury-rigged a solution.

But here is something beautiful to start my day.

I spent 10 days emergency dog sitting for a friend.

First lazy morning at home.

I think she's happy I am back.

Christmas reflections...

She is 6.5 years old. She weighs 100 pounds. Going gray on her muzzle.

And nursing on this toy like her life depends on it.

She is just a teeny tiny puppy in a giant body.

Happy Sunday, Blue Sky!

People here share lots of cat pics. The ones who live with me are mostly uncooperative.

This morning, I got lucky. It's Squeak in the House season again ...

Today is my writing group day. This picture represents my intentions.

I'm working on an online course, planning research for a potential short story, moving forward on an intensive novel revision course I set aside to beta read, and being inspired by a master. #WritingCommunity #BookSky

Nope. It's not Trek. It's Noli, my soul dog; Archer would understand.

Morning view.... Noli and Smokey wish everyone a good day.

They help so much in this emotional season for my family.

Today, I am worried about a dear friend dealing with a medical crisis.

For my country, which is dealing with a crisis of autocracy.

Remembering my husband, who had a terminal diagnosis Thanksgiving 2017.

It is a time to cherish what is good and beautiful .

I woke up to our first snow.

Noli (age 8) would love to be Millie's bestie and wishes her the tail-waggingest birthday ever!

This could absolutely be this sweet girl, too.
