Asiago is a mean cheese. - Jeremiah Burton

Do with these quotes what you will.
She got damp in the rain. She doesn't like to be wet and becomes Roli Noli trying to get dry.

She was also crazy-zooming through the house.

Absolutely spot on. The virus runs deep and will take decades to be fully eradicated.

This is awesome. This is how to fight them, at every turn, with those who can stepping up.

Thanks to The Skimm.

This. Let us remember this.
President Biden in South Carolina at an event honoring MLK.

"There are those who want to erase history...We must know the good, the bad, and the truth about who we are. That's what great nations do. And we're a great nation."

Preach!

Who's a happy girl going for a ride?

Noli is!

Remembering the sulfur steam and frost. Yellowstone was one of my favorite homes.

I need to dig out and share some of my pictures from my YNP years....

Greeting you on Bluesky with this reminder

They are living, thinking, feeling beings

And they deserve our respect, even if we haven't earned theirs.

One love

I need to get moving, but Noli is making a convincing argument for a lazy Sunday.

Good morning from the dogpile!

BlueSky wants to know what's up. It is definitely not Noli. This is how my formerly starving street stray sweetheart prefers to greet every day, new year or not.

May we all find and share comfort and joy this year and always!

Our house is in something of a state of chaos. I was gone, and I do most of the hometending because the kids, 20 and 23, work away from home.

And a pipe burst in the cold snap; 23 just jury-rigged a solution.

But here is something beautiful to start my day.

I spent 10 days emergency dog sitting for a friend.

First lazy morning at home.

I think she's happy I am back.

It's been a busy week. So many dreams last night!

Awake to a sunny day and things to wrap up before my weekend starts tomorrow.

Good morning Blue Sky!

She is 6.5 years old. She weighs 100 pounds. Going gray on her muzzle.

And nursing on this toy like her life depends on it.

She is just a teeny tiny puppy in a giant body.

Happy Sunday, Blue Sky!

Cold and clear this morning. First day this season I have had to bundle up to take the dogs out.

Back to parka season for me and Noli.

People here share lots of cat pics. The ones who live with me are mostly uncooperative.

This morning, I got lucky. It's Squeak in the House season again ...

I have been a bit absent.

Taking a vacation as a freelancer means a lot of work to prepare for time off...

Today is my writing group day. This picture represents my intentions.

I'm working on an online course, planning research for a potential short story, moving forward on an intensive novel revision course I set aside to beta read, and being inspired by a master. #WritingCommunity #BookSky
