I saw this on t.v. during the summer of 1989 and thought it was sad and terrifying. The whole family was falling apart because of the death of the daughter and her coming back for them made it worst for them.

There is a sequel, "The Girl, the Gold Watch and Dynamite" but they replaced the lead actors.
