I'd be worried that an upload facility, without legislative changes to the underlying process, would be just 'putting lipstick on a pig'. A snazzy front end won't fix fundamental problems in the underlying process.

It's a dreadful system, but sure, it's the one thing I can do that SHOULD have some real impact.
If the success rate is just over 1% though, you'd have to wonder about impact!

The article is somewhat ambiguous, but the PQ response is clear - the 60 is the total number of FCPNs for any offence issued for the 4885 reports.
That's a success rate of 1.2%, which would suggest that this process is not effective.

Great thread outlining how inefficient court system is, & why Gardaí are so reluctant deal with “minor” incidents.
Some judges have concerns on sargeants as “presenter” of number of cases, so individual Gda has to attend. Huge reform needed, online attendance, video statements, etc

today would have been just a plea, then setting a date for substantive hearing. This seems like waste of my and everyone's time. Could minor cases not be wrapped up on the same day?
