Great little @bsbibotany.bsky.social excursion to Corlea Bog in Co. Longford over the weekend, and to see Pyrola rotundifolia (finding only one in flower), Hippuris vulgaris and Sagina nodosa...then exploring some aquatic plants near Ballymahon along the canal (highlight being Ranunculus lingua)

Fantastic outing on the 24th May 2025 (late getting these up) in Wexford thanks to the VCR seeing all the amazing peas: Trifolium subterraneum, T. glomeratum, Ornithopus perpusillus and Lotus subbiflorus. Photos don't show how small they are😅

As part of #WorldWetlandsDay2025 it just happened to coincide with the weekend of our IWeBS count of South Dublin Bay yesterday. Although looks like sand and water, it plays an integral part for birds and marine invertebrates which were on show in numbers
