Here is some of the data on the cost for provincial run healthcare, not all the costs associated with having 13 customized health systems.

I’d say politicians are broken and use fear to prevent us from asking basic questions like, what does 13 customized systems buy us?

As Alberta is demonstrating before our very eyes, a government with ill intent towards the people it governs can abuse its power under S33, and that is unacceptable.

Canada should nationalize the colleges.

It can help attract health professionals, more freedom to move after any initial contracts, ability to work shifts in remote regions more easily..

This is what can happen when you elect someone incapable of actually leading

(Poilievre - no real world work experience, never mind leadership skills development)

Nenshi: DynaLIFE lies; why did the govt keep so few records?
Smith: AHS's fault. AHS. Glad to see the AG wrote that report.
Nenshi: Premier did nothing; DynaLIFE pulled out when they realized they couldn't do the job. Why should Albertans trust the Premier to privatize again?

If you have your own domain the switch should be same day.

After using the two main privacy focused providers for a while I am subscribed. Paying for email and using email less.

The hidden alias service is much better with Proton than Apples hide my email.

Those green rental ones should be banned.
In 2 days I saw 2 people have bad accidents on them. Missed the one, but saw the blood and ambulance drive away

There are so many interconnected issues in every health system, simply comparing and saying we want this 1 piece (like private pay 2 tier) without understanding everything else is negligent by the AB Gov.

2 tier needs a real mandate like what would come from citizens assembly, not a Gen. Election

Anyone supportive of a Canada wide citizens assembly on healthcare, please consider writing the Prime Minister and asking for one ⤵️

This is something that will likely have to be approved at the top.

Write & ask PM Carney to fund a National Citizens Assembly on Healthcare for these 3 core issues:

1) Jurisdiction
2) For Profit vs Non-Profit delivery
3) At Fault vs No-Fault harm in care compensation.

S Korea Nationalized healthcare and it paid off big time.

“Hospitals in Japan fundamentally operate as non-profit organizations and are normally owned and managed by physicians. The Japanese government oversees and strictly regulates medical fees to keep treatments affordable for the public.”

Also, what countries should we compare in a National Citizens Assembly on healthcare @mark-carney.bsky.social ?

1) Jurisdiction
2) For profit Delivery Vs Non-Profit
3) Harm in Care, At Fault Vs No-Fault

4 weeks non-urgent specialists referrals in Japan, annual physicals…

We can be better

Can we get some fact checking on Japan please?

My friend schooled me a few years back & I’ve researched online. There is some misinformation in English online I suspect.
Unlikely Japanese are encouraged to shop, prices are set by National Gov in points system - region pop.

Lifetime ban and inadmissible to Canada for violating our laws.

Weird and the speaker nails it, politicians work for us, it’s a fucking job and too many of them would fail a performance review that a minimum wage worker is resident attend.

If Poilievre behaved in any work environment outside of Gov the way he does in, he would be terminated with cause.

I don’t think the UCP are conservatives, they are more like oligarch representatives
