Lastly, similar to the hover effects, please don’t have every ounce of content animate in as you move around the page. Same reason, it’s almost nausea inducing. I promise you less is more here. A tight design with minimal sleek hover animations and all content already loaded is all you need.

Please remove the forced smooth scrolling. It will conflict with people that have smooth scrolling enabled in other ways. Second, please reconsider everything having a crazy animation on hover. I love the general brutalist design but the on hover effects make me almost sick.

competitive on price. Solve the harder problems that PEOPLE have, not businesses. Get private equity/shareholders out of the picture and just build great software and pay your small teams well. It will take some time to shift, but build software that actually makes money and success will follow.

B2B SaaS is basically going to die. At least in its current form. And that’s where a lot of engineers work. B2C is the future, with smaller teams that don’t need millions in investment from blood sucking private equity firms. And costs should be minimal to the business so they should all be

The beautiful thing about remakes done well is they bring the games to a new audience. Nothing fake about that. Hell, sometimes a remake can be better if the vision is more fully realized.

aliens in the face. All of those experiences can be great if the right care and commitment are poured into them. I love TLOU2, Life is Strange, Black Myth all the same because they are great games with strong vision that delivered compelling experiences.

All good man. I think we probably agree on more things than not. I’m just really passionate about this hobby and I’m sad with how it’s being treated by the big companies. I just want good games. Some of those will have gay/trans characters and narratives, some will just be bunch of dudes shooting

I get that. But your framing was the game should have sold better and those groups had some kind of significant impact. I’m saying that I’m outside of either of those groups and still find it to be bad after 30 hours. No company is owed or deserves anything if they don’t make an experience worthy.

Of course I’m going to share their opinions if I agree with them lol. Neither of those reviewers ever once said the game was a failure for woke or other BS reasons. SkillUp especially has incredibly nuanced takes and all his reviews are quality if you want someone that reviews a game for what it is.

There were several games that fall into the worse category. Just because it wasn’t the worst doesn’t mean it’s worth $70.

Which of my arguments stated it was the worst game or that I was anti-woke? See that’s the problem. People that defend this game aren’t willing to acknowledge that it’s okay for others to not want the experience that was delivered. EA and BioWare are not owed anything. They simply made a bad game.
