This is from October 29th. Every state got the same letter. It’s a horrible idea. What can you do with Dunleavy as governor? He won’t say no to Trump.

Lastly as an overseas voter you’re considered a voter from the last state you lived in. So, military voters stationed in Alaska are Alaska voters overseas too.

It’s different than a person from Alaska that moves to another state.

Often the USA consulate will accept ballots. But you can’t buy stamps overseas. And you can’t get ballots from the consulate. And not everyone lives near a consulate to send their ballots back.

Once before Trump caused mail disruptions Anchorage municipality sent our ballots in the mail and they arrived two months after the election. So without email and fax I’m afraid overseas voters would lose their right to vote.

Many people overseas from Alaska need the ballot sent by email because depending on the country the mail is unreliable. Recently many countries have stopped sending mail to the USA because of Trump Tariffs. Right now there’s really no way for me to mail or receive mail from the USA.

To vote as an overseas voter in Anchorage you first have to register with the state to vote every year and after you register with the state you have to register with the municipality every year there’s an election.

Then the ballot is emailed. You print it. It looks the same as the one Alaskans get. You fill it out. Then you scan it and fax it back to the state or municipality.

What the NYT article talked about is something totally different than overseas voting. It also said that Anchorage and Juneau experimented with on line phone voting already with a very small number of people. Again not the same as overseas voting.

The state of Alaska also allows overseas voters to vote the same way as the municipality for state and federal elections as do many other states. Some states only do overseas voting by mail or some portion of it. As we know each state makes the rules for voting in their own states.

Getting your ballot by email or fax & returning it by email or fax is not the same as what was described in the article. I’ve been voting as an overseas voter in Anchorage for 5 years and it’s not “voting on your phone.”

Dalia said she feeds her chickens from babies home scraps. You have to leave it so they learn to eat it if they never had before. Hers eat everything from fruits and veggies, anything liquid, spicy chilis, bread, even meat like chicken.
