if i quit my job, the space doesn’t…go away? it doesn’t punish the NYT? and i have to imagine that the calls to quit my job won’t end if i go to some other, equally compromised publication. so no, i have a large, influential platform and i will continue to try to use it as responsibly as i can

While I don't see many follows from on this app, I do see alot of mass follows that aren't ijteracting with anyone they follow. It's good that there aren't many bot accounts on here from what I see, but I'd still prefer if people actually interacted with the people they follow.

After I moved to Canada a couple of years ago I realized that I was no longer constantly running a massive stress routine in the background of my mind worrying about health care and guns. It was weirdly noticeable only when it stopped.

I like the domains as verification thing, but could we maybe get rid of .bsky.social? It's essentially the default domain, so if someone doesn't have a domain in their namewe could just assume they're on .bsky.social.
Maybe even just .bsky, but the full thing on every username just looks weird.

How do we have 800 of these articles and none contend with the fundamental issue which is rich liberals don’t want to fund left media, they want to fund liberal media which is bloodless and partisan, by definition. GOP courts its extremes, liberals discipline theirs.

I didn't make a clean break from Twitter. Instead, I decided to use both for a while and see how much this app actually draws me in without forcing myself to use it.
I'm proud to say it's working. I still use Twitter a bit more, but I've been using this app more and more every day.
