I skipped it when it dropped last fall. This is a lot more post-punk/goth rock than my favorite albums by them, but it certainly isn't bad. I prefer it to the Decemberunderground era, but it's not a patch on their late '90s/early '00s material.

CONFLICT DLC by HEALTH

Fuzzed-out guitars cranking industrial rock. RIYL Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, Gravity Kills, etc.

This movie was co-directed by Screaming Mad George, who you may know best for his truly grotesque special effects on Brian Yuzna's Society AND he made a weird-ass PS1 game that's like... acid-trip first-person pinball? There's a fan translation, and I streamed it a couple years ago. Fun curio.

Album 3 [RELISTEN] Entertainment! by Gang of Four

One of many of your favorite band's favorite bands.

Released in 1979, this is a fucking post-punk masterpiece. One of the best of the decade. I saw them play the whole thing live last year (with Ted fucking Leo on guitar), it ruled.

At first I read it as "Daimakaimura" and I was like "there can always be more Ghouls 'n' Ghosts games!" 😂😂😂
