It’s smog season in Delhi, a phrase I’ve drafted in at least 4 articles in 4yrs. This year, city govt turned to cloud seeding - but that quick fix led to no induced rain in Karol Bagh. Abundant plant gas forms aerosol particles at high altitude — and could affect the climate | Nature
Aerial observations and experiments with a simulated atmosphere show that isoprene, a gas emitted by trees, is a precursor of particles in the upper atmosphere. The findings could help to improve climate predictions. Isoprene added to the select list of precursors of atmospheric aerosols.
