When I saw the advance copy of The Moon Path my brain started ticking at high speed and I produced respectable drafts for two more rhyming books for children. Let's see where these will go.

Apparently we had the coldest night o the century on Wednesday. Stayed at home and tucked into warming, home-cooked traditional food. And wrote and wrote and wrote.

Shout out to the hotels and motels that have a little bookshelf or library filled with books! Whether or not there's time to read them, it's always great to browse and see what's out there, especially in a foreign country! And if we see one of our favorite books, it's an even bigger surprise!

I've tried to set up Substack a couple of times half-heartedly. Complete fail. But Ive subscribed to some. Apologies to those expecting 'mind-nourishing' prompts or putting their literary 'characters on the couch'. I'm not stopping in real life - but writing about it is hard graft.
