Worth adding: There are good people doing very important work at the state/local level, and there are even some at the federal level trying to make change inside the party. But the point remains: the *national* Democratic Party will not be a serious opposition until there is accountability & change.

Until there is accountability & generational change, the national Democratic Party will remain what it's been for years: an election losing machine & a permanent jobs program for DC/NY suits who serve the donor class and see politics not as a serious endeavor, but as Hollywood for ugly people.

That’s what they are focused on. They are marshaling more big donor money to keep themselves employed atop the party even after it hit the iceberg.
