I often get these comments. TERFS tell me Im a man bc they think I'm a transwoman. I want to find it affirming in genderfuckery, but it's indicative of the rising hate transwomen face. The UK ruling has implications for ALL trans people, but the hate will be directed at transwomen esp Black & POC

Trancestry: 10 years of the Museum of Transology is on at Kings Cross til 11 May. Super accessibility friendly & such a beautifully curated space full of history & culture. A testament to how important our stories are esp now as our human rights continue to be in jeopardy. @hex.ooo #trans

Saw Flow yesterday, and it was really so beautiful. I prepped myself for it by reading spoilers because I am not good with animals in distress. But the themes of friendship, survival, grief, care and dogs just being idiots really shone through. Very Ghibli-esque. Well deserving of all the awards.

Met Popeye and Bluto at Popeye's Village in Malta (it's the set from the 1980s film with Robin Williams and it's so fun and really dedicated to the details!). Clearly I eat more spinach than them though...

Past few weeks I saw Wet Mess' show Testo, a Trans POC-led Music fest & a trans drag show & these make me so proud to be Trans & so lucky to witness such beautiful art others don't see, would refuse to see, or even know exists. The haters are seriously missing out.

I am LOVING THIS book.
Dr Voth, a Trans professor, finds a sexy, salty manuscript with never before seen details about the notorious British thief Jack Sheppard - written as a trans man, and his co-conspirator, Bess. It's written as a story with footnote commentary from Dr Voth and is SO FUN.

Reading queer YA Fiction gives me hope. Felix Ever After is a Black, trans teen's journey of self discovery before college. Content note: he does come up against direct transphobia, but watching him persevere and learn more about loving himself is really wholesome.

Feeling low about the world? Reminders for my Trans, Enby & Gender Queer Siblings We can't fight injustice alone. Although we are all individuals and our lived experiences can be very different from each other, we owe it to ourselves to work together in community against oppression, especially for our femme siblings, our Black and Brown siblings, Indigenous siblings, disabled siblings, refugee siblings, undocumented siblings. Building community is resistance. Even the smallest community is resistance. Does it give you connection? That's resistance. Does it share it's love and support in the face of adversary? That's resistance. Trans joy is resistance. Live as well as possible. Find joy in small things, even if it's just a glimmer. Don't give them the satisfaction of depriving our joy.
