Calligraphy practice for today.

Calligraphy practice. Apparently two cartridge fills of Golden Beryl without rinsing the feed involves enough dried shimmer to clog a Pilot Parallel. I wasn't sure it was possible to clog one of those but now I know.

Calligraphy practice. "Existentialism" was too long a word to fit on one line with the 6mm nib, so I had to size down to a 4.5mm pen with the sadly discontinued Pelikan Edelstein Golden Beryl ink.

Today's calligraphy practice is a blend of Italic and Cancellaresca Corsiva. I like the angle of the Cancellaresca, but apparently my hand prefers more upright forms. And that p is fun but doesn't really mesh with the rest of the letter forms.

An Aztec pangram for today's practice.

Parallels are so much fun.

Calligraphy practice from a few years back, of John M Ford's sonnet "Against Entropy".
