I am a queer, married, 40-something parent of 3, with a dog and 3 cats. I live in the southern US, drive a car that's paid off, rent my home, and got laid off from a 6 year job just before Thanksgiving '23. Fun. Working on getting disability now. Joy...

Iggy was an invaluable tester and contributed so much to the project. He was absolutely brilliant in the game and came up with so many original strategies we had never considered.

Please help us spread the word and as we help find him a living kidney donor. 💙

Such as words "climate science", "disability", or "women".

Someone told me yesterday that irregular galaxies deserve love as much as spiral galaxies, so here is some love for one of them! 🔭

This is NGC-3448, an irregular galaxy located some 75 million light-years away.

It has been observed by Hubble this morning, so this is some kind of hot data!

Heya peeps. I would like to know some of the most impactful books you have read. Some of mine are Everything I Need to know I Learned in Kindergarten, Where the Red Fern Grows, Stranger in a Strange Land, everything from Mercedes Lackey and David Eddings, the books from she-who-must-not-be-named.

Got my new glasses today. Switched back to thin metal frames from thick plastic. Been so long since I had plastic frames that I forgot how much I hate them.

Your V-Day reminder. Lots of disabled folks risk losing their benefits, health care, and income if they choose to get married. Especially if the person they are marrying is not also disabled. It's a gross inequality and needs to change.
